Where am I on this Earth?
I feel lost between two worlds -
One a physical world that all know,
The other a world of love and caring -
Yet I can not touch anyone there.
Where do I belong in this life?
I see beyond death to life,
Each going where they choose.
Others not knowing I see,
Crying in pain for lost ones.
They are there beside them,
I care, but I dare not share,
For they would not believe,
And so their grief overwhelms,
And loved ones are blocked off.
I love those that others can’t see,
They care for me and love me
When life turns and bites.
Yet I too experience pain,
For I can not feel their hugs.
Wherever, I am alone within,
Captive within this body,
Yearning to be free to roam,
Yet bound with ties of love
To those that are also in body.
