The End of Your Life

I know you are dead,
but you had the choice.

I know you would take back
everything you did,
just to be here with me.

I know that you felt the pain,
that I sent to you
when I held your hand
for the last time.

I know that I'll always
remember you,
even if you soon
forget me.

Even though,
you're not walking on the earth
anymore,
I still feel your presence.

Whenever I looked into your eyes,
your cold dark eyes,
I saw the love,
that you had for me.

I see into the future,
that one day,
again,
we will be together.

Whenever
I die,
I will be able to see you
as an angel.

I bet God gave you the most beautiful wings,
ones that glitter the most,
wings that will remind you of
everything we went through together.

I bet you are a lovely angel.
I wish you were still here,
with me.
But I know you are safe.

Through my mind,
memories are racing,
faster than
lightning.

I remember you when I first met you,
and then,
when I last
saw you.

I'll always see you as
my first love.
I don't know what to say.
I just think of you everyday.

I know that one day,
we'll be together,
and I'll cherish every moment
that we are.

You were the first love I had,
and I still love you,
even though you
are gone.
